The word arthritis itself refers to the inflammation in the joints. When one suffers from arthritis, the joints get swollen. They start paining as well as become warm. After a certain period of inflammation, the joints become stiff. This causes great damage to the tissue and the joints start becoming rigid. It ceases the movement of the person. The joints start paining whenever there is any kind of movement of the joints. Since, there will be decrease in the movements made, the muscles around the joints start weakening. This allows further injury that may be caused to the joint. Over time, cartilages inside the bones of the joint start breaking down. The bones of the joints also get eroded, thereby generating a mishappening in the joints. However, this is the worst case of arthritis. Most of the people do not have to face this situation. When arthritis is in its most severe form, it starts interfering in each and every daily activity that involves the joints. Even walking, sitting, and bathing will become almost impossible for the person. In certain cases of severe arthritis, the condition of the patient of arthritis is found to be more severe in the morning time than in the rest of the day. Sometimes, the symptoms may totally disappear for a certain period of time. However, they return with more severity.
