Finger exercises for arthritis

The exercises involving the fingers do help in curing arthritis in the joints of the fingers only. However, they are not helpful for other parts of the body. Close the fingers in the direction of the palm. The fingers must be touching the palm in order to form a fist. After this you have to open the fist by straightening the palm out. Repeat this procedure for three times and this will strengthen the joints of the fingers. After this touch the tips of all the fingers with the tip of your thumb. Touch them in such a way that the shape formed is similar to the shape of ‘O’. There is another effective exercise of the fingers known as the one-two-three finger exercise. The aim of this exercise is that one has normal fingers only if he or she is able to touch the palm with the tips of all the fingers as well as straighten the fingers completely. For this, first start bending the joint that is closest to the finger. Then bend the middle joint of the finger. Finally, as you find your finger tips quite close to the palm, the knuckle should be bent. The exercise is to be performed on regular basis to get relief from arthritis and strengthening fingers.
