It is essential for the arthritis patients to keep their joints in a good condition. This is because often they might have to face extreme pain and severe inflammation. Knowing several joint protection techniques can save you from the pain as associated with arthritic conditions.
Daily you must move all the joints of the body. You can learn these exercises either from your physician or you may learn it on your own. Just go for joint motions everyday as this will improve agility, flexibility and mobility. While doing these exercises you must stay comfortable. Do not force yourself if any of the exercises are difficult or you find them painful. Don’t go for jerky movements. You must be gentle on your joints.
Find out which joints are more painful. Rather than giving them more pain with exercise you must seek medical advice for them.
Water exercises, swimming and water walking and extremely beneficial exercises for arthritis patients. These exercises will give the desired results without injuring or damaging your joints.

You must avoid long periods of seating. Take short walks or keep your legs and hands in motion. This will avoid stiffness and pain.
